Special Education Teacher at Pacific Palisades

We are in need of a Moderate to Severe Special Education Teacher to join the group of our professionals in this endeavor. Every Special Child is currently hiring for one of our esteemed clients near Pacific Palisades, CA. We offer excellent compensation with a flexible payment schedule.

Job Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for teaching groups of students.
Meet each student’s learning requirements and build individual lesson plans to their specific needs.
You will also discuss with parents and support staff to meet students’ progress.
Adapt learning materials to students’ needs, ability to create IEPs
Keep track of and reflect on students’ progress
Monitor children’s behavioral patterns and arrange appropriate interventions if needed
Prepare students for the transition to the next grade
Coach/mentor other professionals who work with children with disabilities
Collaborate with the support staff
All other duties related to the program.

Requirement:
Valid California Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe Education Specialist License
1+ years of working experience as a Special Education Teacher
Master’s degree preferred

Salary: $45.00 – $50.00 per hour

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Schedule:
7.5-hour shift
Monday to Friday
